The BIG BALE FLAKER™ is the first bale feeder of its kind. It is an all-electric, 12 volt, completely remote control method of feeding big square bales of hay from the safety and comfort of the cab of your pickup or tractor. It fits on any flatbed truck or trailer and will feed any size large square bale.
FLAKER ASSIST™
Our FLAKER ASSIST™ stabalizes loose hay like Bermuda, Sudan or Wheat, preventing a domino effect. The FLAKER ASSIST™ and the safety arm lock into place and enable you to feed a portion of the bale and take the remainder to another location.
FLAKES ANY TYPE OF HAY
Depending on the type and condition of the bale, the BIG BALE FLAKER™ will flake off hay 1 to 2 flakes at a time–of any type hay–even the tightest bales, 1 to 2 flakes at a time. The BIG BALE FLAKER™ can be positioned where it won’t interfere with a gooseneck trailer or cube feeder.
BIG BALE FLAKER™ COMPLETE FEEDING SYSTEM
This is a complete feeding system, utilizing the 12-volt system in your truck or tractor as the only power source it requires. It consists of the Flaker Assist and the base unit, (commonly referred to as the Bale Flaker). The base unit feeds the bale. It uses a 5000-pound electric winch to propel the bale to the edge of the bed, where the “Flaker Assist” then flakes the hay off.
